Once a year, CRG goes out to its list of friends and supporters to seek donations to continue the work we do. When I looked back at everything CRG has been able to accomplish with your help, I am truly amazed and honestly, a little prideful. My pride is not in what I and other Core members have accomplished, but what we, as local people, committed to making the world a better place for all, have been able to do. Here is a short list of events and goals that have been brought to fruition in 2006-7 thanks to you and your contributions:

• Amy Goodman’s Democracy Now! has been on the KIXE for a second year
• We co-sponsored the largest Peace March in the history of Redding 2007
• We brought An Inconvenient Truth here and promoted it in an ad campaign
  
• We provided Global Perspectives on Charter Cable as a platform for activists
• We helped in the creation of the new ACLU chapter that serves 3 counties
• We support alternative print media, First Issues and Peoples Press
• We have shown over 20 documentaries on Important issues in the last 1 1/2 years
• We created a monthly Book Discussion Group to explore topical issues
• We have provided community forums on important subjects
• We have provided guest speakers to the community
• We have co-sponsored events with other community groups
• And we have created a new website at www.crgredding.org
